Hysterical cheer moments

Hello loves ♥

4 MORE DAYS......
*SHRIEKS!*

Today was indeed, the most adventurous, the creepiest, the beyond awesome cheer day :) In case you guys haven't knew yet, but our so-called "beloved" headmistress would never, ever, not in a million years time, no matter what problems occur, she would never allow us to practice during school hours. Not even in this tiny amount of time, the season where we need all the practice we can get, where time is utterly golden precious, she just doesn't get what it takes to complete one whole perfect cheer routine. I despise people that judge cheerleaders by saying that, cheerleading is nothing but a piece of cake, especially those type of people who do not understand what it feels like to be in our position. And such coincidentally, our headmistress happens to be in that category. No matter how much Sheryll pursuit her to let us practice, her one and only answer is, "Tak boleh. Belajar dulu." And so, if she's still reluctant about it, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We practiced secretly. Without her permission, without anyone's knowledge. It went well in the morning. But after recess, the discipline teacher and the assintant principal was walking round the school compound. It definitely took our breathe away. Each time we heard footsteps approaching, everyone ran and hid behind the field. To avoid looking suspicious, a few of the cheer members, including me, hid our bags under the stairs. So it was kinda okayh, but then, a few guys started ransacking our bags. If Tsu Ning hadn't notice earlier, all our belongings would be stolen. We told them off but, too bad, Pei Ern's money was gone. Overall, although what we did was wrong and considering the fact that I'm also a friggin prefect, I might get fired anytime but heh, I enjoyed it :) Felt like a professional criminal crawling and hiding all over the school :) Okayh, don't get the wrong idea, I do not wish to be a criminal -__-

*edit*

Oh btw, Dad managed to get the premiere tickets of Ice Age 3. Hell yeahh, its friggin awesome and hilarious. A definitely worth watching movie :)

My world revolves around nothing but cheer

7 MORE DAYS.......
Can this get less scarier? :O

I trade sweat for strength, I trade doubt for belief, I trade fear for spirit, but I trade nothing for cheerleading :)

-

There are probably a million things more important than cheerleading, but I can't think of one...

-

The time has come once again
To show what we can do
To work together as a team
Not just one or two.
Together we can do anything our hearts desire.
You know we have done it even though we are tired.
So let's look to one another for comfort and cheer
Let's lean on each other as we cry our tears.
Because together we have a goal that we have all set
And that's to be the best team the judges have seen yet.
So let's go out on that floor as a winning team
Let's do what we do best and make that crowd scream.
Because together we can do it.
Together we can.
Together we can be the best team in the land.

Come on crowd, let's hear you cheer your lungs out

8 MORE DAYS...........

Hello earthlings :)

Heh, practice today was rather exhausting but fantastically fun :) I have a confession to make, I really love being a flyer, but I'd love it more if I was a base :) Spent almost half the practice basing Joey. It was great.

*edit*

Damn it, there's school tomorrow. Normally, schooling during weekends doesn't make any sense to me, and typically, its a big, hell no! So yup, you guessed it right, I'm so gonna skip school tomorrow! :D Oh and, R.I.P, Michael Jackson.

my lifetime passion; CHEERLEADING

9 MORE DAYS.....

Since cheer practice is canceled today, I found some spare time to blog :) And you may ask, blog about what? But I assume you already knew the answer, yes, cheer ♥ Alright, according to the title, cheerleading indeed, is my lifetime passion :) Now before I go any further, I clearly understand that some of you is not interested in cheer, so this post is just probably gonna bore you to death, feel free to leave ;) Kayy, moving on, I didn't know that I was so into cheer until some of my friends pointed it out to me. Statements and conversations like ;

"Gosh, you're is sooo into cheer."
"I think you're consuming drug, Manda. But the drug is cheer. You're like friggin addicted."
"You know what? I think cheer is like your lifetime passion."
"Is there anything else in your mind? Other than cheer?"

See? It proves. And no, I did not make those sentences out. My friends and cousins had been telling me that alot. Now, I really cannot deny my love, eagerness and of cus, passion for cheer. In fact, I never ever wanna be out in the cheer world. I wanna be in the cheer team every single year and as for my career, yes, it has to involve cheer :D Oh btw, I've just gone through my previous post, and I'm sure you realise that most of the post contain the word "cheer" in it and umm, the title of the posts. Mostly about cheer, no? Okayh, maybe I've gone too far, I promise, when the competition is over, I'm not gonna bring up, the topic, cheer again. Wtf? Did I just say that? Gosh, how can I survive, then? Kayy, I take back my words. I'll just talk less. Cheer is never over to me :)

Cheer 2009, its getting closer!

10 MORE DAYS.....
*gulps*

Hello loves ♥

I'm nervous. Incredibly nervous. 10 more days feels like 10 seconds :| Oh wells, glancing on the bright side, at least, we had all our routine done. Although, stunts and some moves were kinda messy, the others are actually not bad :D Oh and flashing news! Our cheer outfit finally arrived last Saturday. A couple of us put it on, including me, and my gosh, it's superbly tight-fitting. Trust me, other than the competition day, I vowed never to wear it again :0 We nearly taken up an hour just to adjust the outfit in perfect position, and plus, did I mention how we sweat
insanely? But anyways, it feels like a dream come true to finally feel like a cheerleader :)

*edit*

Oh
btw, remember how I declare that I absolutely adore true stories? Especially the ones about abusive tales. Stories like that inspires me alot and not forgetting, it also deepens my sensitivity. Since some people told me that I'm an absolute complete emo without any "sad feelings for others" in my soul -__- Oh wells, at least, I love true stories more than anyone else when some of my friends just announced it as plain boring. Okayh, I managed to get myself another one! That means I have 6 in my collection :)

Sunday, 21/6
Happy Father's Day, daddy! :) Chilled out at Tropicana City Mall the entire day, managed to catch a couple of movies. Went to Aunty Ann's house for dinner, tho. Gosh, the meal was simply splendid. Garlic toast and salad with bacon and turkey ham for appetizers, macaroni lasagna tuna, spicy sauce spaghetti and bolognaise spaghetti as main course and for end treat, commonly known as dessert, its bread pudding with San Fransico mango flavoured ice-cream. The reason I'm telling you all this is cus, those are home-cooked meals and yet, all the ingredients she used just to prepare all those meal cost about RM 400 ++. Might as well eat at a fancy restaurant -__-

Wookayy, till then, I'm off :)

Hey there :)

School has been great, certainly had dozens of gossips to share with the girlfriends :) Results, as I expected, will be handed out. I did not raise my hopes too high for I know that I'm not one of the scatterbrains in class. So far, it has just reached my satisfactory point but there's this friggin subject that makes me explode, in other words, not satisfied at all or in a more straight-forward situation, "Why is Manda so dumb? Why can't she get just a tiny lil bit smarter?" Yes, I seriously awfully feel like murdering myself after I discovered that I got a 83% for ENGLISH!*clears throat* I repeat,
ENGLISH! 83% FOR ENGLISH! *slaps forehead* Omg, I got quite low for Maths and I wasn't very sad nor burning inside but an A2 for English is beyond horrendous. Besides, swallowing up the fact that my friends wrote a 3 paragraph essay while I wrote a 6 paragraph essay, I learned my lesson to not write that long and to just dump away the ideas that have been popping out in my mind. If I don't get 90% or above for the next term, strangling Ann-Marie would be next.... *evil laughs*

GREAT to share with you guys :) Guess what? ;)

*shuts up*

*giggles*

NOTHING......!! :)

Okayh, there is specifically something but trust me, I'll explode if I blog it out :) There's probably gonna be lots of exclamation marks, smiley emoticons, large letters, hence, making this post longer than ever when it can actually just be two lines, so I decided not too :)

Hello earthlings :)

Whoa, its a Saturday already? Just one more day of relaxation and enjoyment before the dark, miserable days of school starts *groans* Okayh, forget the so-called relaxation and enjoyment part, I must admit, this two weeks of suppose to be awesome school holiday makes no difference than working my ass off in school, in fact, it was more dreadly and exhausting. I mean, picture yourself being in school for 7 hours every single day, you seriously get use to the idea of school being your second home. I know, worst nightmare, but what scares me obnoxiously is the exams *coughs* RESULTS. *faints*
OMG. OMG. OMG. OMG. OMG. Yes, I've been muttering that to myself for as long as I can recall. Wookayy, for the sake of the very last day to actually REST, no cheer practice, no activities, no disturbance from my alarm clock, and before school starts, I shall sleep like I haven't slept in a million years for the whole afternoon or maybe evening, tomorrow and get the ugly thoughts of RESULTS *shivers* outta my mind :D Ohh yeahh, sounds like a beyond good plan :)

*edit*

Oh btw, cheer practice have been getting wackier and crazier and more out of this world nowadays. Dirty-dancing on Wednesday, spinning with your eyes closed on Thursday, water balloon fight on Friday, ohh yeahh, I especially love the Friday plan ;) What next? Bungee jumping from the school rooftop? Ohh, I wouldn't be surprise. Unfortunately, nothing wacky came up today cus the Star photographer came for our photo shooting, oh wells, good impression matters after all. Ohh and, we managed to get a glimpse of our costume! It's gorgeous. We're seriously friggin excited to put it on :D

*edit*

Ohh yeahh, one more thing, to my two senior friends, my deepest condolences to you guys. It must be a horrifically hard time you have to face and I know, its the darkest moments you have to live with but, put this in mind, you have friends and God by your side.

traumatize : /

Okayh, just some daily updates about cheer. During cheer practice yesterday, we sorta calculated the amount we need for our props, banners, ribbons and stuffs. Anyhow, we found out that the profit we made during the sports day jumble sale is totally not enough, so, I don't know who came out with this idea to play the guitar and sing in public to raise funds. Okayh, I know Jeja, Sabrina and loadsa them are awesome singers, but still, don't have to actually sing :| Based on my observation, they would not relinquish so easily on whatever they plan out and yeahh, it was Desa Park City they choose to perform and just to show extra support, my mom was their transporter. At first, Jeja started singing beside the lake, quite an amount of people actually looked but none of them bother to so-called donate any money. After a few songs, we reluctantly gave up and just hang out instead. Overall, yesterday was fun, tho there were some embarassing moments but we definitely spent some quality time together, and that's all that matters, no?

*edit*

Practice today started out great. I can finally balance up my locking system on extension liberty and oh, Yana's back from Penang today! :D I must say, after lunch practice was worthless, cus we barely practiced anything cus everyone was dirty-dancing. Yes I know, sick but truthfully telling, I think it was great and would hopefully try one out myself when I'm older ;) Okayh, please don't give me that disgusted look. Yana sorta dragged me into it but I hesitated, oh yeahh :) Anyways, when everyone finally drop down to their senses and stopped being high, we did stunts and guess what? My very first serious injury in cheer. I mean not to say serious but wouldn't describe it as minor as well. My right arm is hurting right now and I'm really clueless of what's the main cause of it, it could be twisted or broken or maybe the muscles got sprained or uhh, maybe the veins couldn't function properly, I don't know cus it went paralysed for a few minutes. But I assume it would recover sooner or later cus I remember spraining my elbow and wrist once. It did hurt for a couple of days but later on, its all back to normal. Oh wells, blow me kisses on this one :)

We tried out extension liberty today :D Considering the fact that only my stunt group members were here, all eyes were on me today since I'm the only flyer doing stunts. Anyways, back to where I was, extension liberty is HARD. I mean, like what Neesa said, I tried my best to convince myself that its an elevator level, but, the level of height rises was unbearable. But after a few attempts, we did it, tho, it wasn't very neat, oh wells, still have the time to brush it up :)

*edit*

Back to Solaris the next Monday!
Ohh yeahh! :) Guess where we're dining at this time?

The best Japanese buffet :D Again!

Movies, the pure cure ♥

I don't know why I'm blogging this -__- Oh wells, I just can't keep my fingers off the keyboard *shrugs* Anyways, other than cheer, I also spend my holidays by like, [duh] movies :) So far, I've watched 2 movies in a week and I expect more to come since there are so many movies being release now.

MONSTERS VS ALIENS

I don't know what to say about this movie, its like childish?
Ohkayy, maybe for my age, it is, but we went for the 3D version,
and its not even thrilling! No heart-stopping moments or
eerie sound effects and eventho you're wearing the 3D glasses,
you barely see any characters popping out of the screen.
For kids, they'd find it interesting but for teens,
I suggest you, to not waste your money.

Oh btw, Bob is seriously the cutest, most adorable creature
I've ever seen in the movie industry :) He's so stretchable and
slimey and I don't know, makes you love him :D

17 AGAIN

This movie acted by Zac Efron is kinda interesting :)
There are loadsa hilarious, laughing moments scenes,
definitely worth giving it a go.

I can't wait to watch
Night At The Museum 2 :D And oh, can't wait for Harry Potter to be release, not forgetting Drag Me To Hell as well :) Harsh and I plan to watch it together and of cus, Ann-Marie dissaproves it, considering she's the religious type. *laughs*

suffocating like no other.... ♥

I. AM. EXTREMELY. TERRIFICALLY. HORRIBLY. INCREDIBLY. SERIOUSLY. SUPERBLY. TOTALLY. FRIGGIN. EXHAUSTED. T__T

Oh gosh, this is not the type of vacation holiday I had in mind -__- This is even worse than school! We've been having cheer practice for 7 hours a day. Not kidding. And every single damn day, I have to get up at 8 am. Which is hard and not forgetting, suffering. After days of this daily routine, getting up at 8, reaching home at 5, I'm definitely, entirely, WORN OUT.

*edit*

Okayh, lets put that exhausting mood aside :D Now, just a little something great about cheer :) Forget the waking up problems, lets move on to our improving progress of stunts :D Today was awesome :D Its basically, my very first time for doing a basket toss and as usual, like every other beginners luck, the first few couple of tosses makes you go, "What the hell is that?" But then....maybe around the 4th or 5th toss, as I was about to jump into the air, I was determine to achieve a high toss for the team. Soooo, when I leapt into the air, I seriously felt nothing. I don't even feel myself flying, but as soon as my bases caught me, everyone was cheering and screaming and Jeja went and hugged me, so I was just figuring out to myself, "Was it high?" and Tsu Ning went and shrieked, "Its so damn high!" Oh gosh, its like a hilarious, fatuous type of joke. I mean, I never considered myself as a good flyer. Never. Basket toss is one of the hardest stunt and I did it high? *sarcastic laughs* Imposibble. But somehow, its converted into reality and I'm kinda in a trauma state right now ;)

Just an example of what is it like ;)
PS: Its the 4th of June today, Cheer 2009 is on the 4th of July, so yeahh, just one more month?! *shrieks* :O

Wookayy, till then, more cheer to come, dozing off time are way over :'(
